Aparna Purohit to join Aamir Khan Productions in leadership role
Amazon Prime Video, head of India and SEA originals, Aparna Purohit has put down her papers. Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to e4m. According to sources, Purohit is likely to join Aamir Khan Productions in a leadership role. e4m has reached out to Amazon Prime Video for an official confirmation but did not receive any comment at the time of filing this story. Purohit has been associated with Prime Video for over nine years. She joined Prime Video in 2016 as head of creative development and in 2019 was promoted to head of India Originals. In 2022, she became the head of India and SEA originals at Prime Video and Amazon Studios. Prior to Prime Video, Purohit worked with Cinestaan Film company as creative head. She had also worked with Mumbai Mantra Media as head creative initiatives.
