e4m Play Streaming Media Awards 2024: Prime Video named OTT Platform of the Year

The exchange4media Group hosted the fifth edition of e4m Play Streaming Media Awards 2024 on May 9 at a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai. The prestigious awards recognise, honour and celebrate the talent, content, brands and platforms for their excellence, creativity and innovation. At the spectacular awards night, the big award ‘OTT Platform of the Year’ was awarded to Prime Video for its outstanding and impressive work while the 'Content Company of the Year' honour was awarded to The Viral Fever (TVF). The occasion was graced by top industry luminaries and distinguished leaders from the advertising and marketing world.

Coming to the medal tally, Prime Video bagged a total of 22 metals including 6 golds, 11 silver and 5 bronze metals across categories. AmazonMini TV bagged 2 silver and 1 bronze metal while Amazon Seller took home 8 metals including 4 golds, 2 silver and 2 bronze metals across categories. The other top winning brands that took home the most metals include Netflix and TVF. Netflix won 20 metals including 8 gold, 12 silver metals across categories while TVF took home 19 metals including 4 golds, 10 silver and 5 bronze metals for their outstanding work across categories.

The awards were given in five categories - Content, Brand Integration & Marketing, Platform, Talent, Streaming Audio / Podcasts. The jury meet for the e4m Play Streaming Media Awards 2024 was held in two phases. The first jury meet that judged the Brand Integration and Marketing, Streaming Audio/Podcast and Platform categories was held on April 16 was held which was chaired by Amit Syngle, MD & CEO, Asian Paints. On the other hand, the Content/Talent jury meet was held on April 19 and was chaired by Amit Sharma, Director, Producer & Co-Founder, Chrome Pictures.

The other jury members included industry leaders, seasoned professionals, and renowned personalities from the industry. The prestigious awards recognise and celebrate remarkable achievements across five main categories, each of which is subdivided into specific sub-categories.
