Aparna Purohit to move on from Amazon Prime Video?

Aparna Purohit, head of India and SEA originals at Amazon Prime Video, has put down her papers. Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to e4m. We have also learned that Purohit is likely to join Aamir Khan Productions in a leadership role.

Purohit has been associated with Prime Video for over nine years. She joined the company in 2016 as Head of Creative Development and in 2019 was promoted to head of India originals.

In 2022, she became the head of India and SEA originals at Prime Video and Amazon studios.

Prior to Prime Video, Purohit worked with Cinestaan Film company as creative head. She had also worked with Mumbai Mantra Media as head creative initiatives.

Purohit was also featured in IMPACT's 50 Most Influential Women List of 2023.
