B. Thiagarajan has been reappointed for an additional term, effective from April 1, 2026, through May 24, 2027

Blue Star Limited has announced key board-level changes, including the reappointment of B. Thiagarajan as Managing Director.
Thiagarajan, whose current term as Managing Director ends on March 31, 2026, has been reappointed for a further term from April 1, 2026, to May 24, 2027, just before he attains the age of 70.
With over four decades of professional experience across B2B and B2C businesses, Thiagarajan has been with Blue Star since 1998. He was elevated to the Board in 2013, appointed Joint Managing Director in 2016, and assumed the role of Managing Director in April 2019.
Thiagarajan is actively involved in industry forums and currently serves on the CII National Council. He is also the National Chairman of the Indian Green Building Council and the CII Green Cooling Council. Previously, he has held positions as President of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association (RAMA) and Chairman of the CII Western Region.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madurai University and has completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School.
