Mamaearth launches its annual ‘Goodness Report Card’ on the 51st Earth Day

A digital and social media campaign was released to highlight how the company with support of its customers have made a positive impact  Mamaearth, a toxin-free personal care brand has always stayed true to its promise of “goodness inside” since its establishment in 2016. This year, to highlight the importance of sustainable choices in business, they have launched their annual Goodness Report Card with a very special digital film. In the digital film, a Goodness Report Card was presented to a 7-year-old girl who was asked to grade Mamaearth’s actions over the last year. Little Simar can be seen stepping into the shoes of a teacher as she gleefully prepares to grade Mamaearth’s work. To celebrate the 2021 theme of ‘Restore Our Earth’, the report has been released to highlight the different ways in which the company has contributed to the environment. The report conveys the impact of the choices that the brand has taken such as planting trees, recycling more plastic that they use, eliminating the use of toxins in products, being animal cruelty-free and more. As part of the #MamaearthDay campaign, the personal care brand has also sent seed cards along with the report card booklet to their partners. The back of the report card has a QR code that links to a “Pledge Page” on their website wherein they can learn more about Mamaearth’s good choices - https://mamaearth.in/pledge. With the support of their customers, Mamaearth has been adding a little goodness with their choices. They link a tree to every order on their website, and through this initiative of “Plant Goodness”, more than 1 lakh trees have been grown in the last 6 months already. They aim to plant 1 million+ trees within 5 years. They also ensure no toxins or harmful chemicals in their products with a list of 1,193 toxins on their watch out list when developing products. Over the past 1 year, they have also recycled 1,135 metric tonnes of plastic, which is way more than the plastic they use.
