Simon Milner to step down as Vice President – Public Policy, APAC at Meta

Simon Milner, Meta’s Vice President of Public Policy for the APAC region, has announced on LinkedIn that he will be stepping away from the company later this year. Having recently completed 14 years at Meta, Milner said he plans to retire from full-time work and transition to the next phase of his career.

Reflecting on his tenure, he described his time at Meta as “off the scale in terms of opportunity, challenge and impact.” Prior to joining the company, Milner spent the first half of his career in public policy roles at the BBC and British Telecom.

Milner added that he will continue at Meta for the next few months to support the identification of his successor and ensure a smooth transition for the APAC public policy team. “It’s been the privilege of my career to spend the last eight years working on the most important policy issues for Meta and for the APAC region,” he said.
