Schneider Electric appoints Preeti Bajaj as Executive Vice President – Home Solutions

Schneider Electric has appointed Preeti Bajaj as Executive Vice President of its Home Solutions Division.

In her new role, Bajaj will drive growth and innovation across Schneider Electric’s Home Solutions portfolio, focusing on home energy management solutions, switches and sockets, and electric vehicle charging. She will lead initiatives to deliver intelligent solutions that make homes smarter, more efficient, and better protected. As part of her EVP mandate, Luminous Power Technologies, previously led by Bajaj, will now fall under the Home Solutions portfolio. Bajaj has also joined the board of Starcharge, a Schneider Electric-managed joint venture. She is based in Gurgaon, India.

Bajaj is a seasoned global executive with extensive experience in strategic transformation. Prior to this appointment, she was CEO and Managing Director at Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd., a Schneider Electric-owned leader in power backup and residential solar solutions in India. She has also served as CEO of Clipsal Solar (now Clipsal Cortex, a Schneider Electric Ventures company), where she led global teams and developed advanced hardware and software for renewable energy solutions. Earlier, she held the position of Vice President, Strategy and Commercial Operations Transformation at Schneider Electric.

Bajaj holds a master’s degree in applied finance from Macquarie University, an MBA with a finance major from Swinburne University of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Delhi University. She has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. In July 2025, she was named to Fortune’s list of the Most Powerful Women in India.
