Sameer Singh appointed Managing Director and Additional Director of HT Media

Hindustan Media Ventures Limited (HMVL) announced that its board has approved the appointment of Sameer Singh as Additional Director and Managing Director of HT Media Limited for a five-year term, effective March 1, 2026, according to a filing with the BSE. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval, and Singh will also serve as a Key Managerial Personnel of the company.
Singh has been serving as Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Media Ventures and Group CEO of HT Media Limited since March 1, 2025. He will take on the role of Managing Director from March 1, 2026, for a period of five years.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Singh brings over 30 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining HT Media, he headed North America Global Business Solutions at TikTok and ByteDance, leading advertising and sales teams across the region. He also previously led similar operations in the Asia Pacific.
