Google releases Veo 3 in India

Google has introduced Veo 3 in India, expanding its suite of artificial intelligence tools for video generation. Veo 3 is designed to create short, eight-second videos that include synchronised audio, such as sound effects, ambient noise, and dialogue, based on user prompts or image references. The tool is accessible through the Gemini app with a Google AI Pro subscription.

Veo 3 incorporates several technical features. It can generate native audio alongside visuals, simulates real world physics for more natural motion, and allows users to create videos using text, images, or a sequence of frames.

The tool also offers camera controls for adjusting scene composition and integrates with Google’s Flow video editor for additional editing options.

The Google AI Pro subscription, previously called Gemini Advanced, is priced at Rs 1,950 per month in India. The subscription provides access to Veo 3 as well as other AI features, including Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 2 video tools, Whisk, NotebookLM, and 2 TB of cloud storage.

In the context of advertising and marketing, Veo 3 enables brands and agencies to quickly produce tailored video campaigns, experiment with creative concepts, and personalize content for diverse audiences. The tool’s efficiency and flexibility allow for rapid iteration and adaptation, which is increasingly important in today’s fast-paced digital landscape.

Google has stated that it is prioritizing responsible AI practices with this release. Videos generated from user photos carry both a visible watermark and an invisible SynthID digital watermark for transparency and traceability. The company has implemented content policies and security measures to address potential misuse.
The launch of Veo 3 in India makes advanced AI video generation tools available to a broader range of users.
With this development, Google is extending its AI offerings in the region, providing new options for video content creation through artificial intelligence.
