TCS promotes Amit Tiwari to Global Head of Marketing Technologies and Digital

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has elevated Amit Tiwari to the role of Global Head of Marketing Technologies and Digital. Tiwari announced his new appointment through a LinkedIn post.
Sharing the update, Tiwari reflected on his long-held belief in the convergence of marketing and technology. “The most powerful marketing is built on a foundation of strong technology,” he wrote, adding that this philosophy has guided his career and inspired his book Mar-Tech: A Marriage Made on Earth. “I’ve always seen marketing and technology not as two separate functions, but as partners that do their best work when they grow together. Today, that belief turns into a new chapter,” he said, expressing excitement about stepping into the newly created global role at TCS.
Elaborating on the mandate, Tiwari noted that modern marketing sits at the intersection of creativity, data, AI and technology. By bringing together Digital Marketing, Creative and Marketing CTO teams, TCS aims to reimagine client engagement, strengthen brand building, drive demand generation and accelerate growth through advanced MarTech and AI-led capabilities. In this role, he will work closely with industry, services and geography marketing teams to build a unified, full-stack, AI-powered marketing engine focused on delivering measurable outcomes across new business and renewals.
Tiwari joined TCS in 2021 as Global Head of the Marketing Demand Center, where he led an integrated marketing approach to strengthen demand generation and influence pipeline growth with clear performance metrics.
Prior to TCS, he spent over four years at Havells India Limited as Vice President – Marketing, where he played a key role in driving brand and business impact across the company’s portfolio. Earlier, he was associated with Philips India as Director – Marketing, Brand, Communication and Digital.
