Ravi Makwana has joined Vadilal as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Makwana moves to Vadilal from Zydus Wellness, where he previously served as Category Head.

Ravi Makwana has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Vadilal Industries Limited. He announced the development in a LinkedIn post, expressing his excitement about working on a brand he grew up loving.
“I am super excited to work on this very beloved brand that I so devoured growing up. It almost feels surreal to work on the brand that was hands down the best part of my childhood. India is on the cusp of an ice cream explosion and the ice cream wars have just begun. With incumbent brands getting aggressive and insurgents creating new categories and formats, it will be interesting to fight this out in the market,” Makwana wrote.
Makwana joins Vadilal from Zydus Wellness, where he served as Category Head after joining the company in May 2024. His previous stints include roles at Tim Hortons India, Tata Consumer Products and Asian Paints.
