Mukta Arts appoints Chaitanya Chinchlikar as Business Head – SGM Studios

Chaitanya Chinchlikar has taken on an additional role as Business Head – SGM Studios at Mukta Arts, alongside his current position as Vice President at Whistling Woods International. He announced the development in a LinkedIn post.

Sharing the update, Chinchlikar said that SGM Studios is Mukta Arts’ animation and video gaming division, focused on creating animation and gaming intellectual properties drawn from the company’s rich five-decade content legacy. “I’m happy to share that, in addition to my responsibilities at Whistling Woods International, I’m starting a new position as Business Head - SGM Studios at Mukta Arts! SGM Studios is Mukta Arts' Animation & Video Gaming division, focusing on creating Animation & Gaming IPs from the rich content legacy that Mukta Arts has built over the past 5 decades”, the LinkedIn post stated.

A seasoned professional in the media and entertainment industry, Chinchlikar has been associated with Whistling Woods International for nearly 20 years. Over the past two decades, he has worked extensively to strengthen media and entertainment education in India across various levels, leading multiple academic and technological initiatives.

At Whistling Woods, he has spearheaded several innovations, pioneering new verticals in media and entertainment education as well as in emerging technologies such as virtual production, virtual reality, and AI. He has also played a key role in setting up technology development labs and forging partnerships with leading industry players including Sony, Apple, Adobe, Google, Intel, Foxconn and Reliance Jio.
