DishTV calls for EGM to appoint directors on March 21

DishTV has called for an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of equity shareholders on March 21, ,2024 through video conferencing or other audio-visual means to appoint directors. 

In a notice to BSE, the DTH platform said the company shall be providing facilities to its shareholders to exercise their right to vote on all business proposed at the EGM by electronic means, by using remote e-voting facility and e-voting facility at EGM. The said facility is being provided by National Securities Depositories Ltd (NSDL).

It further added the remote e-voting period shall commence from Monday, March 18, 2024 to Wednesday, March 20, 2024, and the shareholders of the company holding shares as at the cutoff date i.e. March 15, 2024 shall be eligible to vote using the remote e-voting facility and e-voting facility at EGM.

The company will be seeking shareholders approval for the appointment of Sunil Khanna as an Independent Director Ravi Bhushan Puri as a Director and as Whole Time Director, and Sonal Bankim Parekh as an Independent Director of the company.
