Cannes Lions Day 2: Six metals for India; FCB Group India bags Gold

Day 2 of Cannes Lions 2023 saw the Indian advertising industry bag six metals - one gold, three silver and two bronze.

FCB Group India won gold for 'Untangling the politics of hair' for Stir.

The three silvers were won by FCB India/FCB Kinnect, FCB Interface and Leo Burnett.

‘Chatpat for SOS Children’s Villages’ by FCB India/FCB Kinnect won silver in the category of Entertainment Lions.

'Tr For Teacher' for Navneet from FCB Interface also won silver in the Entertainment Lions category. Airtel 175 replayed for Airtel from Leo Burnett won silver for Entertainment Lions for Sport.

While one bronze was bagged by DDB Mudra for 'Machine Gun Mouth' for Battleground Mobile India in the Entertainment Lions - Gaming category, the other bronze was secured by Dentsu Creative in the Design Lions category for 'The Everything Book' for Vedantu.

On winning the first gold this year for the country, Swati Bhattacharya, CCO, FCB Group India said, "STIR’s unfettered ambition for this brief, our aspiration for the work, the standards Rohit Chawla, our photographer, set for making it as evocative as it could be - this is a testament to what being unfettered can achieve for all of us.
