4 IPL sponsor slots sold for Rs 1,485 crore: Report

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sold four sponsorship slots for the Indian Premier League (IPL) for a combined amount of Rs 1,485 crore, according to a news report.

The four companies that bagged the slots are My11Circle, RuPay, Angel One, and Ceat. Rupay is the only one that has bid for three years while the others have bid for five.
According to the news report, the bids were submitted to the BCCI on Wednesday.

The news report said that the board has sold three associate partnership slots on offer to My11Circle, RuPay and Angel One. Ceat has reportedly retained the strategic timeout partnership for five years with a bid of Rs 240 crore. According to the report, there were no bidders for the orange & purple cap, and umpire partnerships.

IPL 2024 is slated to go on from March 22, 2024, to April 7, 2024. During the two weeks, 21 matches will be played across 10 cities, with each team playing a minimum of three matches and a maximum of five, BCCI said in a press statement.
