The upcoming film Dhurandhar 2 is already generating strong buzz within the industry, with T-Series acquiring its music rights. According to reports, the deal is valued at approximately Rs 27 crore across all languages.
The music rights for the first instalment were held by Saregama. The sequel builds on the musical success of the original Dhurandhar soundtrack, composed by Shashwat Sachdev, which stood out in 2025 for its experimental fusion.
One of the highlights was the global popularity of “FA9LA” by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, featured during the on-screen introduction of Akshaye Khanna’s character.
Dhurandhar 2 is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.
