If you love creating Reels or vlogging, here’s a chance to turn your creativity into cash. The Indian government is offering cash prizes of up to Rs 15,000 in a new contest titled ‘A Decade of Digital India – Reel Contest’, launched to celebrate 10 years of the Digital India initiative.
The contest invites content creators across the country to submit short videos that creatively showcase how the Digital India Mission has improved lives—whether through better online services, e-learning access, digital health initiatives, or fintech solutions.
Rs 2 Lakh Prize Pool for 85 Creators
Hosted on the MyGov platform, the contest will reward the top 10 entries with Rs 15,000 each, while 25 participants will receive Rs 10,000 and 50 more will win Rs 5,000—bringing the total number of winners to 85 and the total prize pool to Rs 2 lakh.
How to Participate
Participants can visit the MyGov portal, log in using an email ID, phone number, or social media account, and upload their reel entries. The last date to apply is August 1, 2025. Once submitted, participants will receive a confirmation message or email.
The government will select winners based on originality, creativity, and relevance to the theme. So, if you believe Digital India has transformed how you study, bank, work, or access healthcare—this is your moment to tell that story and get rewarded for it.
