Crompton raises ad spend by 14% in FY25

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd ramped up its advertising investments in FY25, spending Rs 154.88 crore, a 13.9 percent increase from Rs 136.05 crore in FY24.

Revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,863.55 crore in FY25, up 7.5 percent from Rs 7,312.81 crore in FY24. Including other income of Rs 68.83 crore, total income rose to Rs 7,932.38 crore, a 7.5 percent increase from Rs 7,380.20 crore in the previous fiscal.

Total expenses climbed 5.4 percent to Rs 7,176.17 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 6,807.13 crore in FY24.

Profit before tax for FY25 stood at Rs 756.21 crore, marking a 32 percent rise from Rs 573.07 crore in FY24.

After accounting for total tax expenses of Rs 192.13 crore, up 46.3 percent year-on-year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 564.08 crore for FY25, a solid 27.7 percent increase compared to Rs 441.78 crore in FY24
