Britannia reports 8% year-on-year revenue growth

Britannia Industries has reported an 8.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 4,969.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), as per its unaudited financial results. Revenue grew 2.7% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from Rs 4,840.63 crore in Q2 FY26.

Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 5,029.28 crore, up 8.0% YoY from Rs 4,655.44 crore in Q3 FY25, and 2.8% QoQ from Rs 4,892.74 crore in Q2 FY26.

Total expenses increased 6.0% YoY to Rs 4,107.59 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 3,874.65 crore in Q3 FY25, and rose 2.5% QoQ from Rs 4,005.84 crore in Q2 FY26.

Profit before tax (PBT) climbed 18.1% YoY to Rs 919.03 crore, compared to Rs 778.39 crore in the same quarter last year. Sequentially, PBT increased 4.0% from Rs 883.62 crore.

Net profit for the quarter rose 17.1% YoY to Rs 682.14 crore from Rs 582.30 crore, and grew 4.1% QoQ from Rs 655.06 crore.

Key expense heads for the quarter included cost of materials consumed at Rs 2,662.98 crore, purchases of stock-in-trade at Rs 208.46 crore, employee benefits expense at Rs 214.73 crore, finance costs at Rs 33.25 crore, depreciation and amortisation at Rs 84.51 crore, and other expenses at Rs 955.28 crore.

Tax expense for the quarter stood at Rs 236.89 crore, up 20.8% YoY and 3.6% QoQ.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, Britannia's revenue from operations rose 6.8% YoY to Rs 14,432.67 crore, while net profit increased 14.7% YoY to Rs 1,857.33 crore. PBT for the nine-month period stood at Rs 2,503.67 crore, up 15.1% YoY.
