Veteran journalist Kundan Singh named Deputy Editor (News) at Oneindia & Dailyhunt

Veteran TV journalist Kundan Singh has begun a new chapter with leading media-tech firm Greenium Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd. In an interaction with Pitch, Kundan Singh confirmed that he has joined the company's digital news platforms Oneindia and Dailyhunt as Deputy Editor (News).

In this position, Kundan will be instrumental in enhancing the quality, depth, and credibility of government affairs coverage, mentoring teams, and ensuring editorial excellence across the platforms.

Kundan Singh was most recently Associate Editor (Government Affairs) at Network18 for about 2.5 years, concluding his tenure a few days ago. He has also served as Assistant Editor at Times Network's Hindi news channel, Times Now Navbharat HD, and held several key roles at Hindi news channel News24 for nearly 12 years.

Hailing from Chhapra, Bihar, Kundan Singh brings over two decades of journalistic experience. He started as an intern at Doordarshan in 2002, later joining Zee Network's Channel City, before moving to Azad News. From there, he transitioned to News24, Times Network, and Network18, and now takes on this new role.

Kundan Singh specializes in policy reporting, covering beats such as railways, roads and transport, agriculture, and rural development. He has reported on projects ranging from the Kashmir initiative to the Northeast Rail Project, while his coverage of drugs, the Anna Movement, farmers' protests, and the CAA and NRC has drawn significant attention.

Regarding his education, Kundan Singh graduated from Purvanchal University, Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh), pursued a PG Diploma in Business Management from DAV School of Management Studies, Delhi, and completed a PG Diploma in Electronic Media from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi.
