VIP Industries Limited has appointed Sameer Wanchoo as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), strengthening its leadership team at a time when the luggage and travel accessories brand is sharpening its growth ambitions. Wanchoo shared the news of his appointment through a LinkedIn post, marking his move to one of India’s most recognised consumer brands.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as CMO at VIP Industries Limited,” Wanchoo wrote, signalling the start of a new chapter in his marketing journey.
Before joining VIP Industries, Wanchoo spent over seven years as Chief Marketing Officer at Eureka Forbes Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in building brand equity and driving growth across its consumer-centric portfolio. His tenure was marked by a strong focus on brand transformation, customer relevance and sustained market momentum.
A seasoned marketing leader, Wanchoo brings extensive experience across the consumer goods and lifestyle space. His career includes senior marketing roles at CavinKare, where he served as Vice President – Marketing, and at Mattel Inc., where he worked as Category Manager – Marketing for infant and pre-school products, among other leadership stints.
With his appointment, VIP Industries is expected to further strengthen its brand strategy, consumer engagement and market positioning in an increasingly competitive travel and lifestyle segment.
