Seasoned media executive Mohit Sharma has rejoined Zee Media as Branch Head (North) and has also taken on the role of National Head at Zee News.
Sharma earlier held the position of National Sales Head at Zee Media. He concluded a 14-year stint with the organisation and moved to NDTV Network as Branch Head in April 2024.
His time there lasted around nine months. Following that, Sharma joined the Times Group as Vice President (Sales). He has now stepped down from that role and returned to Zee Media.
Mohit Sharma brings with him strong expertise in media sales and business development.
Over the course of his career, he has built enduring relationships with advertising agencies as well as corporate clients.
Before his earlier tenure at Zee Media, Sharma worked with the ETV Media Group as an Assistant Manager from November 2006 to November 2009. During those three years, he played an important role in handling corporate clients in the Karnataka regional market.
He also had a brief stint as Regional Manager at Gamma Trade International, where he managed regional operations from Singapore and worked on expanding the company’s distribution network.
Sharma began his professional journey with Amar Ujala Publications Limited, serving as a senior officer for nearly six years from June 1999 to June 2005.
