Jindal Steel appoints Gautam Malhotra as CEO

Jindal Steel has appointed Gautam Malhotra as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment has been done with immediate effect.
The company, in an exchange filing, said the decision has been taken in a board meeting.
Malhotra has been appointed the CEO almost five years after the previous CEO, Sudhanshu Saraf, quit in 2020.
Malhotra has been associated with Jindal Steel since May 2024 and worked in various departments of the company, including mining, production, HR, logistics, technology, AI adoption and sales verticals.
Malhotra has over 19 years of experience across the industry.
