Aman Gupta, Co-Founder and CMO of boAt India, was adjudged ‘Best Celebrity Creator’ at National Creators Award held in Delhi on Friday. The award was presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam.

While receiving the National Creators Award, Gupta said, "We started our company when ‘Start-up India, Stand Up India’ was introduced in 2016. Many people said we won't be able to do anything. It is 2024 now, and we are the world's second-largest brand."

"During Covid-19, in 2021, our products were made in foreign. Then the government started the Made in India initiative. Now 70% of our products are made in India. Our mission is to make global brands. Just like how people stand in lines when a global brand comes to India, we want the same when homegrown brands go out in the world."

With the changing landscape of creativity and entrepreneurship, particularly in the technology and lifestyle sectors, Gupta's win has become a testimony to the new-age India. Started in the year 2016, boAt Lifestyle is a homegrown brand that has gained popularity in the last few years with numerous gadget products being sold at affordable prices.

Gupta is also an important part of Shark Tank India and has invested in many start-ups that came on the show. He started his career with Citi Bank in 2003 as Assistant Manager until 2005. Prior to co-founding boAt, he was a Senior Management Consultant (Strategy Services Group), a Senior Management Consultant (Strategy Services Group), at KPMG.

In 2023, Gupta represented Indian brands in the Cannes Film Festival, marking the importance of brands in the prestigious film festival. Recently, actor Ranveer Singh has made a strategic investment in the brand and is also the brand ambassador of the company.
