ITC records 16% growth in Q2 revenue

ITC has recorded a growth of 16% YoY in revenue as per its Q2 FY25 financial results, calling it as “resilient performance amidst a challenging operating environment”.

The conglomerate said its gross revenue has been driven by agri-business and hotels in the July-Sept quarter of FY25. EBITDA is up by 5% YoY.

The company’s total revenue from operations stood at Rs 22,282 crore for Q2, against Rs 19,270 crore last year during the same quarter.

In particular to H1, the conglomerate’s total income recorded a growth of 11%, rising from Rs 39297 crore in H1 of last year to Rs 43622 crore in H1 FY 25.

ITC’s cigarette segment recorded revenue rise of 7.3% YoY.

According to the company, “Market standing continues to be reinforced through strategic portfolio and market interventions with focus on competitive belts and to counter illicit trade. Differentiated and premium offerings continue to perform well. Severe cost escalation in leaf tobacco partially mitigated through improved mix, strategic cost management and calibrated pricing actions.”
