The American Hindi Content Creator, Drew Hicks, won the title of Best International Content Creator at National Creators Award 2024 held in New Delhi.

Hicks, who is originally from Florida but grew up in India, is famously known for his humorous content in Bhojpuri and Hindi languages. With his unique content, he has been able to garner over 9.3 lakh followers on Instagram and over 4.4 lakh subscribers on YouTube. 

The Youtuber documents his travels in India and the US. He also proudly said in an interview, "Mera passport American hain par main dil se Bihari hoon” ((My passport is American, but I'm a Bihari by heart).

He has spent twelve years in India. When he was five years old, his father took him for business to Varanasi. Two years later, Hicks’ moved to Bihar where his father operated a business of Madhubani paintings and that’s where he picked up Bhojpuri and Hindi language. 

Elated about the win, he shared on Instagram, “It was a true honor and privilege to be the recipient of a National Creator award from @narendramodi Ji. I’m so happy to see @mygovindia taking such a great initiative to recognize so many talented and hardworking creators.”

“I’m proud to be included among so many of these gifted people and can’t wait to attend many more of these events in the coming years.
