DD FreeDish auction: 13 slots sold, Rs 217 crore earned on Day 6

The total number of slots sold in the last six days has reached 59 and the total revenue earned so far is Rs 1079 crore, crossing last year's revenue

DD FreeDish auction: 13 slots sold, Rs 217 crore earned on Day 6

On the sixth day of the on-going DD FreeDish auction for MPEG-2 slots, 13 channels secured slots. The pubcaster has sold 13 slots and earned Rs 217 crore on Saturday. The auction will continue on February 26, 2024. 

The slots are being allotted for a period of one year, from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. 

The channels that bagged the slot today during day 6 of the DD FreeDish auction include Nazara and Ishara in bucket A+ for Rs 16.60 crore and 16.70 crore in round 2. In round three with a base price of Rs 13 crore, Good News Today, Unique TV, B4U Movies, Dhinchaak (Bflix), TV9 Bharatvarsh, Bhojpuri Cinema, Goldmines, Times Now Navbharat, Zee Anmol Cinema 2 and News Nation bagged the slots.

Total number of slots sold in the last six days has reached 59 and total revenue earned so far is Rs 1079 crore. This year's auction has already crossed the revenue earned by Prasar Bharati in 2023.
