Technical Guruji houses more than 20 million subscribers on YouTube and has more than 5 million followers on Instagram

Gaurav Chaudhary aka Technical Guruji has bagged the Best Creator in Tech Category award at the country's first-ever National Creators Awards at the Bharat Mandapam on Friday.

Chaudhary started his YouTube channel in 2015 and shared at the award ceremony that the biggest reason for it was the Digital India initiative and the Make in India programme.

“We know that India has a talented bunch of people. And after these initiatives when manufacturing began in India and foreign companies began entering and investing in the country, I thought that I too could share some of my own knowledge to enhance growth,” Chaudhary said.

The PM shared, “There’s one topic that India is doing a lot towards. And I’ve been telling leaders all over the world about it - Digital India’s success. I always have one request in this space. For a bright future, we need to ensure that technology is democratised.”

Born in 1991, Chaudhary’s early life was similar to that of numerous Indian engineers. However, it was during his formative years at Kendriya Vidyalaya that he grew more inclined to technology. By 2017, with over 10 million subscribers, the Technical Guruji channel was included in the top ten tech channels globally. In June 2023, NDTV and Gadgets360.com (Red Pixels Ventures, an NDTV venture) roped in Chaudhary as the new face of their technology vertical.

He also recently was featured alongside Shahrukh Khan in a campaign by RealMe, for its Realme 12 Pro Series 5G. According to media reports, his estimated net worth is 45 million dollars. In current terms, the sum is equal to Rs 369 crore.
