Marriott Bonvoy and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have entered into a multi-year strategic partnership, appointing Marriott International’s travel platform as the Official Accommodation Partner for ICC events through 2029.

The collaboration brings together the global appeal of cricket with Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of travel experiences, offering the brand’s 260 million members opportunities to engage with the sport across continents. The partnership also enables Marriott Bonvoy to showcase its diverse hospitality offerings to cricket’s vast and passionate global fan base, the company said in a release.

“Cricket continues to grow as a global sport, with rising fan engagement worldwide,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International. “With more than two billion fans globally, we are proud to serve as the ICC’s Official Accommodation Partner and look forward to delivering exclusive access and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our members who are passionate about cricket.”

The agreement covers all ICC Men’s events over the next four years, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka; the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the United Kingdom; the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia; the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 in Australia and New Zealand; the ICC World Test Championship Final 2029 in the United Kingdom; and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.

Beyond accommodation, Marriott Bonvoy will work closely with the ICC to curate bespoke cricket-related content, roll out local activations, and drive deeper engagement with members across key markets.

“Cricket’s dominance as a sport has the power to unite fans across countries,” said Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific Excluding China, Marriott International. “This partnership allows us to bring the power of Marriott Bonvoy to over two billion fans while delivering tailored cricket experiences to our 260 million members, particularly in markets such as India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka where the love for the game runs deep.”

Satya Anand, President – Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International, added, “Cricket has been a lifelong passion for me, and like millions of fans, I’ve seen how the game brings people together across borders and generations. Partnering with the ICC allows us to turn that shared passion into unforgettable journeys, giving our members unmatched ways to experience ICC events both on and off the pitch.”

Welcoming the partnership, ICC Chairman Jay Shah said, “We are delighted to partner with Marriott Bonvoy in a collaboration that reflects a shared ambition to redefine how fans experience cricket. By combining the global reach of the game with Marriott’s world-class destinations, we are creating a powerful platform that connects cricket with memorable travel experiences across leading cricketing nations.”

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta said the partnership aligns with the ICC’s focus on enhancing fan experiences beyond the field of play. “While the athletic spectacle is central, hospitality, travel and cultural elements are equally important. Marriott Bonvoy’s international footprint and commitment to elevated experiences make them a natural partner as we work to enrich fan journeys and turn moments into lifelong memories.”
