TV18 has broadened the responsibilities of Yatendra Sharma, Political Editor at its Hindi news channel, News18 India, by entrusting him with additional roles. Sources indicate that Sharma has been named Head of the Delhi reporting team and will also take on anchoring duties across television and digital platforms.

In this expanded role, he will oversee the planning and conceptualisation of political coverage and host two weekly political podcasts for the digital channel. Additionally, Sharma will lead the Delhi-based reporting team, concentrating on high-impact stories and breaking news.

He will also appear as a guest on debate shows, anchor a weekly morning bulletin, and assist in coordinating guests for the channel’s events and conclaves.

Yatendra Sharma has been associated with the network for nearly five years, joining in February 2021. Prior to this, he had an extensive tenure at India News. Apart from anchoring, Sharma is recognised for his strong expertise in political affairs.
