Vinod Bahety appointed CEO at Ambuja Cements

Ambuja Cements on Friday announced the appointment of Vinod Bahety as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Bahety’s term as the CEO will come into effect from April 1, 2025.

In an exchange filing, the company said that Bahety has been also allotted the role of the Additional Director, Wholetime Director along with being the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a term of three years.

“Appointment of Mr. Vinod Bahety (DIN: 09192400) as Additional Director and Wholetime Director and Chief Executive Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of the Company for a term of three (3) years with effect from 1st April 2025”, the regulatory filing said.

Bahety has been serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and ACC Limited (Cement business) since September 2022. He has now been elevated to the role of Wholetime Director and Chief Executive Officer (WTD & CEO) of the company for a term of three years. Consequently, Bahety will relinquish his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company with effect from the close of business hours on March 31.

Several key appointments have been announced by the Gautam Adani-owned group at the Board meeting today. Ajay Kapur has been reappointed as Managing Director for a term of two years with effect from April 1, 2025.

Rakesh Tiwary has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the company, a position which was previously held by Vinod Bahaty. Meanwhile, Praveen Garg has been appointed as an Additional Director on the Board of the Company for a term of three consecutive years with effect from April 1, 2025
