Vidhya Srinivasan gets additional role at Google

Google’s Vidhya Srinivasan has been given an additional role at the company. As per her LinkedIn profile, Srinivasan will now lead commerce along with her current role of overseeing Ads at the tech giant. With that, Vidhya Srinivasan is now the Vice President of Ads and Commerce.

“I’m excited to share that I’ve taken on an expanded role leading the Commerce team (consumer shopping, merchant shopping and payments) in addition to Ads at Google! People shop more than a billion times a day across Google, and AI is helping us transform each step of their shopping journeys. From shopping experiences and merchant tools to secure payments, I look forward to working with the team to accelerate AI innovation even more”, she stated in her LinkedIn post.

As per reports, the position was earlier held by Maria Renz, who has decided to move on from the company.

Srinivasan will continue to report to Nick Fox, Google's Senior Vice President of Knowledge and Information.
