Sougata Basu appointed VP- Category and Brand Management at Nykaa Fashion

Sougata Basu has been appointed as Vice President Category and Brand Management at Nykaa Fashion. He took to LinkedIn and announced his new role.

Prior to this, Sougata Basu was with ace turtle as AVP and Business Head.

Basu is a management professional with over 17 years experience in Retail, E-commerce, FMCG Foods and Health and Fitness industry in leadership roles. His expertise lies in Marketing Management, Category Management, Retail Merchandizing and Demand planning, Vendor Relationship Management, Strategic Business Development, Customer delight, P&L Ownership, Tech enablement for business drivers.

During his career, he has built and led teams to deliver sustainable business growths and profitability and by integrating customer backwards and tech supported category interventions.

In his previous stints, Sougata Basu has worked with Myntra, Flipkart, Cure.Fit among others.
