Shweta Rajpal Kohli moves on from Peak XV

Media professional Shweta Rajpal Kohli has moved on from Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA) where she was the Chief Public Policy and Communications officer. She was with the company for a little over four years.

At Peak XV, Kohli worked closely with several external stakeholders like regulators and policymakers to drive the public policy agenda for the firm, venture capital industry and portfolio companies. She also represented the company for several external engagements and dealt closely with industry bodies.

She has also worked with Salesforce, Uber, NDTV, Times Group, Business Standard, Hindustan Times and The Indian Express.

Kohli ranked among IMPACT Magazine’s 50 Most Influential Women in Media in 2018; and received the 'Women in Excellence Award' by Women Economic Forum in 2019.

She has received several prominent awards including Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism by President Pratibha Patil and Seema Nazareth-Business Standard award for Young Journalists by President KR Narayanan, Communicator of the Year by Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI).  She is a British Chevening scholar and recipient of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Fellowship by the US State Department. She also ranks among 45 global leaders chosen for the Asian Fellowship on Global Governance.
