Sandeep Karwa joins Coupang as Country Head for Taiwan

Sandeep Karwa has joined Coupang as its Country Head for Taiwan. Karwa announced the news of his new role through a LinkedIn post. In his new role, Karwa is set to drive Coupang’s international expansion.

“I am eager to harness this opportunity to drive Coupang’s international expansion. The journey toward redefining consumer commerce and supply chain in Asia is well underway, and I look forward to contributing to this transformative endeavour”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.

“In just few weeks, I have had the privilege of engaging in numerous conversations that exemplify how Coupang truly lives by its core leadership tenets. Experiencing these principles in action has only reinforced my excitement about our strategic mission”, he added.

Prior to this, Sandeep Karwa was with Flipkart for over 12 years. He last held the role of Vice President - Flipkart Ads at the e-commerce platform.

In his previous stints, he has worked with Walmart India, Wildcraft India, ICICI Lombard, Cognizant, Atos Syntel, among others.
