Amazon Web Services (AWS) India and South Asia has appointed Sandeep Dutta as President.
Dutta was formerly the India Business Lead at Accenture where he has worked for nearly 17 years.
Jaime Valles, Vice President at Amazon Web Services, shared the news in a LinkedIn post. “As AWS continues to deepen our investments and impact across India, I'm thrilled to welcome Sandeep Dutta as our new President of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Web Services India and South Asia. Sandeep's arrival marks an important milestone in our journey to empower businesses, governments, and communities throughout the subcontinent to realize their full digital potential.”

Previously, he was responsible for driving Accenture’s sales growth and strategic client relationships in India. In addition, he also led some of Accenture’s major ecosystem partnerships in India. Prior to that, he was the lead for the Resources group in India working with clients across utilities, energy, chemicals and natural resources industries.
