SalarySe Appoints Indranil Guha as Vice President – Marketing

SalarySe has brought Indranil Guha on board as its new Vice President  Marketing, as the Credit-on-UPI platform looks to sharpen its brand voice and marketing operations amid rapid expansion. Guha will work closely with the founding team, overseeing brand communications and driving marketing strategy across channels.Guha comes with over 18 years of experience across BFSI and SaaS, having held senior marketing roles at organisations such as Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, ING Vysya Life Insurance, AKAI and greytHR. His career spans large-scale brand building, digital-led campaigns and field marketing initiatives in India and the Middle East.

Commenting on his new role, Guha said, “Marketing today has to sit at the intersection of trust, relevance and user experience. SalarySe is attempting to solve a real gap in how salaried Indians access and manage credit, and that makes the opportunity both challenging and exciting.”At SalarySe, Guha will focus on strengthening brand relevance and customer-centric communication, particularly as fintech platforms face increasing scrutiny around transparency and responsible credit. The company positions its model around employer integration to manage credit risk while expanding access for salaried users.

A member of SalarySe’s leadership team said the appointment comes at a crucial phase of scale-up. “As the platform grows, it’s important that our communication reflects clarity, responsibility and purpose. Indranil’s experience in building trusted financial brands makes him a strong fit for where we are headed,” the executive noted. The hire underlines SalarySe’s push to move beyond being just another fintech app and instead build long-term engagement with India’s salaried workforce. With marketing expected to play a central role in user acquisition and trust-building, Guha’s mandate will be to translate the platform’s financial wellbeing narrative into consistent, measurable growth.
