Pulak Bajpai recently resigned from the Hindi news website India.com (formerly Zee Digital), where he served as Deputy Editor for nearly two years. Before that, he worked as Executive Editor for the digital division of Dainik Bhaskar Group, DB Digital, in Bhopal. This was his third stint with the Dainik Bhaskar Group.

In addition, Bajpai has also been associated with Zee Business for almost four years, where he served as Deputy Executive Producer. With a career spanning close to two decades, Pulak brings with him rich experience across print, electronic, and digital platforms. After completing his mass communication studies from Jagran Institute in Noida in 2006, he began his journalism journey with ABC News in Kanpur, anchoring the program Aapse Mulakat.

In 2008, he joined I-Next, part of the Dainik Jagran Group, where he reported from Kanpur. After gaining experience in field reporting, Pulak moved on in May 2008 to join Business Bhaskar as a Senior Sub Editor, contributing to business news coverage for about two and a half years. In September 2010, he transitioned to The Economic Times (Hindi Edition), where he worked as a Senior Copy Editor and also reported for two years.

Returning once again to the Jagran Group, Pulak took on the role of Chief Sub Editor in their digital venture and was soon promoted to Deputy News Editor. He later joined Business Bhaskar in the same capacity and then became Chief Sub Editor at the MoneyBhaskar news portal.

In 2015, Pulak moved to Hindi business news channel CNBC Awaaz, where he worked until July 2017. He then joined Zee Business, before switching to Dainik Bhaskar Group in 2021 as Deputy Editor (Digital), later being promoted to Executive Editor. In 2023, he left Dainik Bhaskar to join India.com as Editor, a role he recently resigned from to now join Times Network.

Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Pulak Bajpai holds a B.Com degree from Kanpur University. In 2013, he completed his post-graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from Mahatma Gandhi Open University, Maharashtra.
