PNB Housing Finance Appoints Ajai Kumar Shukla as MD & CEO

PNB Housing Finance Limited has announced the appointment of Ajai Kumar Shukla as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a tenure of five years, effective December 18, 2025. The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, subject to requisite regulatory clearances.

Shukla brings over three decades of experience in the housing and mortgage finance sector. He joins PNB Housing Finance from Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited, where he spent 16 years in senior leadership roles, leading key functions including business expansion, credit and risk management, valuation, digital transformation, and affordable housing finance. Earlier in his career, he has also held roles at ICICI Bank and LIC Housing Finance Limited, giving him a comprehensive perspective across the lending ecosystem.

Ajai Kumar Shukla holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from CSJM University, Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kanpur University.
