Salil Dalal, who led Pidilite Industries as Chief Business Officer for Pidilite's Construction Chemicals business, has decided to move on, the company stated in a BSE filing.
He tendered his resignation in order to pursue new opportunities outside the organisation. His last working day is on August 22, 2025.
In terms of Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we would like to inform you that Mr. Salil Dalal, Chief Business Officer - Construction Chemicals (Senior Management Personnel) of the Company, has tendered his resignation vide his letter dated 3rd July, 2025, to pursue new opportunities outside the organization and his last working day is effective from the close of business hours on 22nd August, 2025", the filing said.
Salil began his journey in Pidilite as the President Sales and Marketing for Pidilite’s Rurban business, and tripled the sales and distribution reach of the business in 3 years.
Since joining Pidilite in 2012, Salil Dalal has led and developed multiple key businesses and channels that have significantly contributed to Pidilite’s growth.
Before taking the helm of the Construction Chemicals business, he served as the Chief Business Officer for Fevicol. He also led the Emerging India Business, where he was responsible for driving growth of all of Consumer and Bazaar products in small towns and rural markets.
In his stint as President of Sales and Marketing for Fevicol, Salil strengthened the iconic brand through successful digital campaigns, an innovation pipeline, and developed initiatives for market share gain.
Before joining Pidilite, he spent a decade at Asian Paints, working in Sales, IT, Marketing, and Services. His time at Nokia's startup in the mobile payments space and his experience at Future Group's Home Retail equipped him with key entrepreneurial skills and familiarized him with various consumer products and services.
