Glanbia Performance Nutrition has appointed Sumit Mathur as its new Country Head - India and South Asia. Prior to this, Sumit Mathur was the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Paytm.

Mathur announced the move on LinkedIn. “My bags are packed and I’m ready to go. Passion for Food & Fitness, Rapidly Growing Sports Nutrition category and people & culture focused on well being!! Feeling energised as I take on the opportunity of leading India & South Asia for Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) in my role as the country head”, the LinkedIn post read.

Sumit Mathur is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience. He started his career as area sales manager at FMCG giant Unilever and was associated with the company for nearly 14.5 years, holding various roles at the company.

In his previous stints, Sumit Mathur has worked with Unilever, Kellogg India among others. He was also associated with the Confederation of Indian Industry and The Advertising Standards Council of India.
