Nitin Bhandari to head PepsiCo India's beverages business

PepsiCo has appointed Nitin Bhandari as Vice President and General Manager for India and South Asia-Beverage. Bhandari will succeed George Kovoor, who will retire on March 31, 2025, as Senior Vice President and General Manager for India Beverages. Bhandari will be based in Gurugram. 

Bhandari has been associated with PepsiCo for almost 19 years. He has held diverse leadership roles in the company across India, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific. Most recently, he served as VP & chief growth officer for PepsiCo India. Prior to this, he was general manager for the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, managing both beverages and foods.

On the appointment, media reports quoted Bhandari as saying, "Excited to lead our beverages business in India & South Asia. Grateful to Eugene Willemsen & Jagrut Kotecha for this opportunity, and deeply appreciative of George Kovoor's leadership over the last 3 years to set such a strong foundation for this business."
