After the appointment of Venu Lambu as the CEO (designate) of LTIMindtree, the company has created an AI role for its COO Nachiket Deshpande, who was among the frontrunners for the chief exec role, say reports.
Deshpande will take charge as the IT’s major’s President of global AI services, strategic deals and partnerships with immediate effect. The news was reportedly announced by Lambu in a March 7 letter.
As COO at LTIMindtree, Deshpande has helped build credibility for the company in key areas such as implementing processes like risk management.
He also focused on talent development, introducing new talent and skill frameworks to help employees grow and develop within the company. Additionally, he aided in strengthening the company’s service lines, both traditional ones like ERP and new-age ones like Cloud and GenAI.
