Laurent Uguen has been promoted to Vice President, APAC Partnerships – Business Development at Netflix. He announced the appointment through a LinkedIn post, sharing that he will relocate to Seoul to lead Netflix’s partnerships and business development initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.
“Excited to share that I’m moving to Seoul to lead our partnership and business development efforts for Netflix in APAC! It’s an honor to join the talented teams who have already made Netflix such a success in this part of the world, and I can’t wait to work together to drive even more growth for Netflix and our partners,” the post read.
Uguen has been associated with Netflix for nearly 12 years. Prior to this elevation, he served as Senior Director – Business Development & Strategic Partnerships. An accomplished executive business leader, Uguen brings deep expertise in driving growth and profitability across media and digital technology companies, with global leadership experience spanning the US, Europe, China, India, the Middle East and Africa.
