Flipkart’s Binny Bansal launches tech start-up Opptra

Flipkart Co-founder Binny Bansal has launched a tech start-up Opptra.

The company deals with franchising businesses that can help brands build themselves in the Asian markets, particularly in categories like fashion, lifestyle, home and kitchen.

Bansal has roped in Ranjit Babu, who was earlier with Amazon India and former CEO of Cloudtail, as the CEO for Opptra's electronics and general merchandise.

While ex-Lendingkart CTO Giridhar Yasa will be the Chief Product and Technology Officer of Bansal's start-up, former Swiggy VP Anand Raj will be the Global Supply Chain Head.
