Flipkart names Gunjan Bhartia as Senior Vice President, Business Finance

Flipkart has announced the appointment of Gunjan Bhartia as Senior Vice President, Business Finance. In his new role, Bhartia will head eKart’s business finance function across all verticals, with a focus on strengthening financial planning, driving performance rigour, and enabling strategic transformation as the company builds a future-ready supply chain for India.
With over 28 years of global finance experience across Asia and the Middle East, Bhartia brings deep expertise in partnering with high-growth technology organisations. He has held senior leadership roles at companies including GE and Coupang, where he played a key role in scaling businesses, leading large-scale transformations, and managing multi-billion-dollar programmes. His experience also spans operating in highly regulated, listed-company environments with robust investor, governance, and disclosure standards.
