Anshul Asawa named CEO of DMart’s parent company

Anshul Asawa has been appointed as the CEO designate Avenue Supermarts, the parent company of DMart. His appointment is effective from March 15, 2025.

Anshul Asawa joins after a nearly three-decade stint at Unilever where he is currently General Manager, Greater Asia, Home care | Head of country, Unilever Thailand.

Asawa has held various marketing, sales, digital commerce and general management positions in multiple countries and categories.

According to media reports, Neville Noronha, who led Avenue Supermarts for more than two decades, will be moving on as his term ends on January 2026.
