Aditya Mangla has been appointed the chief executive officer (CEO) of Zomato’s food ordering and delivery business, parent company Eternal has said in a regulatory filing.
Mangla will take the charge from Rakesh Ranjan. Ranjan has been handling the role for two years.
"This isn’t just a change of roles. It’s a signal for the kind of leadership we need as we move into our next chapter. Leadership is not just about knowing what to do. It’s about learning how to see. Seeing the invisible cause and effect," Deepinder Goyal, founder of Eternal, reportedly wrote in an email to employees.
“We need leaders and teams who can navigate complexity with decisiveness and humility. Leaders who can move fast but stay thoughtful. And who carry the courage to make decisions even when the outcomes are uncertain, and have the strength to stand by them or change their minds when needed,” Goyal reportedly said.
