The Adani Group has announced the promotion of Mitul Thakkar as the new Head of Media Relations and Partnerships, expanding his responsibilities to oversee communications across all its business verticals.
Thakkar has been an integral part of the Ahmedabad-based conglomerate for over eight years, most recently serving as Associate Vice President – Corporate Brand Custodian.
In his new role, he will lead the group’s strategic media engagement and communication efforts across its diverse portfolio, which includes energy, infrastructure, logistics, and more.
With nearly a decade at the Adani Group, Mitul brings a wealth of experience in corporate communications and journalism. Prior to joining the group, he held key roles at Vedanta Group, and worked as a journalist with leading publications such as The Economic Times and Business Standard, where he focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors.
