First region in the country where Santoor is being customised for local preferences

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has launched the new variant of its Santoor Soap for West Bengal. It is the first region in the country where Santoor has been customised to suit local likes and preferences.

While Soap comes with the traditional natural ingredients of sandal and turmeric, what is unique is the composition of the soap and the packaging. The Santoor bar Soap for West Bengal sports a different colour and comes in a carton pack.

Speaking on the launch Mr. Anil Chugh, Chief Executive, Consumer Care – India, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, said, “The new Santoor Variant for West Bengal market is the result of extensive customer research we took to understand customer preferences and tastes. With this launch, we seek to strengthen Santoor’s position in the Eastern markets. Santoor is a leading soap brand in India.”

Over the years Santoor has grown from a single soap brand to soap variants, talcum powder, deodorants, liquid soap, handwash, facewash and so on and has been constantly launching new brand variants and new products in tune with market demands and needs. The new Santoor soap is priced at Rs.28/- for 100 gms and is available in all the retail outlets across the State.
